Safeguarding Adults Training Calendar

Training calendars are issued quarterly.

The calendar for July to September 2012 is now available.  It can be found as an attachment on this page. You can also email sab@hullcc.gov.uk for a copy.

Training details are also available via the Board's partnership agencies Training and Development teams.

The following sessions are provided:

Safeguarding Adults Briefing Session:    (sessions delivered quarterly)

This 90 minute session provides a basic overview and is suitable for all staff, particularly for those new in post, or for staff  who do not work daily with vulnerable adults, eg administrative staff. Attendance is certificated. It can also be used for refresher training.

 

Safeguarding Adults E- Learning package:     

This  24/7 access EL package is also suitable for all staff providing a basic understanding and is appropriate for staff who may not be able to attend a Briefing session. It is also suitable for refresher training.       Access details available upon request : email sab@hullcc.gov.uk

                      

Basic Awareness session:   

A half day session for all staff who work with vulnerable adults in the statutory, voluntary and independent sectors.

Sessions times: AM (9.30-12.00) and PM (1.30-4.00)

Practitioner Awareness training    

This one day training is aimed at practitioners working with vulnerable adults who already possess foundation level knoweldge and is suitable for delegates working in the statutory, voluntary and independent sectors. It aims to provide clear understanding of the safeguarding process from alerting through to case conference.

Session time: 9.30 - 3.30
