Board training
As of the 1st April 2017 the Board no longer provides safeguarding adult training. The Care Act 2014 states that the purpose of the Board is not to provide training but quality assure the content of training delivered by other agencies and providers. There are excellent e-learning packages on Safeguarding Adults and the Mental Capacity Act on the Scie website at www.scie.org.uk
